Dylan Garrison is a Sonoma County drummer who brings his adventurous improvisational spirit to many styles of music. He released his debut album “Lousie”, a collection of instrumental modern jazz compositions featuring some of the Bay Area’s great musicians including Tony Stead on keyboards/piano (Sly Stone, Pointer Sisters, Zigaboo Modeliste, Elvin Bishop), Jason Thor on trombone (The King Street Giants, Free Peoples, Marshall House Project, Brian Setzer Orchestra), Michael Dipirro on bass (Bill Kreutzmann, Free Peoples, Albany Project), and Nick Tocco on guitar. Dylan grew up listening to a wide variety of music; rock and blues from his Mom and jazz from is Dad. He grew up playing in local bands across many genres including metal, rock, and acid jazz. In 2014 he graduated from the University of North Texas College of Music.  He now performs regularly with The King Street Giants, Free Peoples, Jose Simioni Trio, among many others through out the Bay Area and touring the west coast.
